Once you’ve laid down the foundations, it’s time to pick out the decor. That’s right, you get to customise everything down to the furniture and decorations. You will attract different types of guests as your hotel grows and its rating changes, bringing new opportunities and challenges. Here’s a scenario:
You have decided to lower the price of alcoholic beverages, which has resulted in an increase in sales and guest turnover. However, you didn’t foresee your hotel becoming known as a cheap dive or sleazy resort, attracting a younger crowd that has a penchant for partying and property damage. Make your business decisions wisely!

The facilities you provide have a major impact on the types of guests your hotel attracts. Each facility attracts a certain type of client, but might convince others to stay well away. Are you thinking about creating a health and wellness resort? Gym and spa facilities will go a long way to attract health-conscious holidaymakers. Hoping to make your hotel a family destination?
